1. The Patitapaban Seva Sangh, Nimapara has been functioning in the state of Odisha since the year 1986 u nder the leadership of reputed retired Govt. servants of t he locality from date 15.08.198 6.
  2. On its way of growth in the year 1988 - 89 the Sangh is registered under the” Society Registration act XXI - 1860” before the Registrar of Societies Odisha on date 31.03.1988.
  3. Organized a Health Camp in the G ovt. Boys High School building in the year 1987 under the active support of wise men’s Club & Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar .
  4. Identification of handicapped Camp was organized under the assistance of V.R.C. and Indian Red cross Society State Branch, Bh ubaneswar in the year 1987.
  5. Started a special School under the name and style as “School for the Blind and Deaf, Nimapara “at Nimapara with 13 deaf students and 10 Blind students on a rented building on dt. 02.11.87.
  6. Special Camp for identificat ion of handicapped was organised and Hearing aid , stick, wheel chair was supplied to the handicapped persons in the year 1989.
  7. Eye operation camp was organised under the active support of Indian Red Cross Society, Odisha Branch and Odisha Associ ation of Blind at Nimapara , where in 42 Aged persons were being operated in the year 1989.
  8. World Disable Day was celebrated jointly with Kushabhadra Seva Samiti, Nimapara which is an Independent voluntary Organisation running a special school fo r the Blind , Nimapara wherein prizes were distributed by the General Secretary , Indian Red Cross Societies , Odisha Branch, Smt. Ranu Mishra and Kasturika Pattanaik a reported voluntary worker on date 03.03.1989.
  9. Organised Two days seminar on N ational Integration in the Govt. Training School, Nimapara on date 22.07.89 & 23.07.89.
  10. Organised sports among the disable students and celebrated the World Disable Day jointly with Kushabhadra Seva Samiti, Nimapara in which Honorable Minister, Revenue & Excise, Mr. Surendra Nath Nayak was chaired as Chief Guest and Honorable Minister, Finance, Mr. Ramakrishna Pattanaik was chaired as Guest of Honour & M.L.A., Nimapara Mr. Benudhar Sethy was presided the meeting at Govt. Boys High School, Nimapara on date 03.03.1990.
  11. The Special School for the Deaf of Nimapara running under the organization was recognized by the Govt. of Odisha for sanction of Grant - in - Aid on date 17.03.1990.
  12. Organized relief Camp for the flood affected people of Gop, and Nimapara Block at Abhayamukhi and Ganeswarpur , Gop from date 20.08.1991 to 26.08.1991.
  13. Organized World Didsable Day jointly with Kushabhadra Seva Samiti, Nimapara and distributed the prize to the winner in sports events. Wherein Chairman, Nimapara N.A.C , Mr. Di llip Kumar Mishra was president on date 03.03.1992.
  14. Director, Social Welfare, Panchayatiraj Deptt. Govt. of Odisha requested the organization to take over charge of SVM. School for the Blind, Nimapara which was previously run by the Kushabhadra Seva Sami ti, Nimapara considering the previous condition of Blind students under the Kushabhadra management. Finally the Organization received 48 nos of Blind Students from Kushabhadra Seva Samiti, Nimapara and received recognisation from Govt.of Odisha on the yea r 1994.
  15. Establishment of Old Age Home with 25 inmates at Nimapara with State Govt. assistance with effect from date 15.03.1994.
  16. Establishment of Special School for the Mentally Retarded Children at Nimapara with the financial assistance from Ministry of Welfare, Govt. of India with effect from 15.03.1995.
  17. Opening of High School for the Blind students with effect from 01.07.1995.
  18. Conducted the details survey of physically handicapped students of Nabarangpur and Malkangiri districts for opening of a Special School.
  19. A special body of the organization already has completed the parent counseling and made fruitful discussions with the concern Collectors and Tahasildars for the requisite cites for the Special School at Nabarangpur and Malkangiri Districts .
  20. The World Disable Day 1997 is celebrated on 3 rd March of 1997 with much grandeur under the Chairmanship of Collector, Puri and benignant guest ship of many prominent persons of the state. Winners of sports, arts, music, essay and eloquence were distributed prizes.
  21. Drug De - addiction centre functions s uccessfully under the stewardship of the organization since two years.
  22. Organization arrange a mobile Health Care Centre and conducts a mass Health Check up in the locality . Poor diseased persons are given medical advice through qualified doctors.
  23. Opening of High School for the Deaf students since the year 1997.
  24. Distributed relief materials among the cyclone affected people during Super Cyclone 1999.
  25. Formation of 200 Women Self Help Groups in Nimapara, Kakatpur and Gop Block in Puri Diustrict and facilitated them Bank loans with the support of UCO Bank and State Bank of India.
  26. Organised Disaster Rescue Management Programme at Dhaleswar G.P , Arishandha G.P,and Nimapara NAC in Puri District during the year 2002-03.
  27. The Organisation is registered under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 1976 bearing No. 105020317.
  28. Organised Vocational Training Centre on white phenyl, coir , washing soap, Agarbati , Chalk etc for Handicapped students and stitching of leather bag , Teddy work, coir etc for the women SHGs with active support of SISI, Cuttack, MSME, Govt. of India during the year 2004-05.
  29. The Sangh is registered under Persons with Disabilities in the year 2005 by the Govt. of Odisha in W&CD Deptt.
  30. Establishment of Vocational Training Centre for Disabled Children.
  31. Our Organisation has performed Village Sanitation programme in Nimapara Block in Puri district with support of UNICEF
  32. Organised School Sanitation Programme with support of UNICEF in Nimapara and Gop Block in Puri.
  33. Organised Plantation Programme on the side of Nimapara –Balipatna road and inside the school campus.
  34. Organised Jalachhatra programme during summer season in 8 places in Nimapara Block each year.
  35. Organised Free Food Donation Camp in Rath Yatra at Puri.
  36. The Special High School for the Deaf of Nimapara running under the organization was recognized by the Govt. of Odisha for sanction of Grant - in - Aid in the year 2009 - 10.
  37. Celebrated International Day for the Persons With Disabilities along with District Administration , Puri at th e Organisation campus during the year 2009 - 10
  38. Celebrated Mental Health Day at Organisation campus each year by Judges of Nimapara Judicial Court, Nimapara.
  39. Established Library and Study Centre with the co operation of Raja Rammohan Roy Charitable Trust, Kolkata.
  40. Organised stall at Konark Festival at Konark , Baliyatra at Cuttack and Nimapara Mohotsav at Nimapara.
  41. Constructed a Bathroom and Toilet for the Aged beneficiaries with acyive support of Rotary Club, Bhubaneswar Kalinga during the year 2013-14
  42. Development of Old Age Home buiding for the women with active support of Rotary Club, Bhubaneswar Kalinga during the year 2013-14.
